About Our Firewood

We sell high-quality firewood that burns clean, hot, and steady — just the way it should. With over 50 years of experience, we know what it takes to deliver great wood. We offer kiln-dried, seasoned, and green firewood to homes and restaurants across Central Virginia. Whether you're heating your home or firing up a wood oven, we’ve got the right wood for the job. Learn more about our wood below.

  • Heated in a kiln to remove moisture, kiln dried firewood burns hotter with less smoke and lights easily. With an 8-20% moisture content, kiln dried wood is perfect for indoor fireplaces, wood stoves, and pizza ovens where consistent heat and low smoke matter. Kiln dried wood is an excellent choice for storing indoor due to its low moisture content and is less prone to mold, insects, or fungi.

  • Natural dried wood, also known as air-dried wood is wood that has been dried by exposure to air in a natural, outdoor environment over several months. With a 12% - 20% moisture content, naturally dried firewood uses no artificial energy to cure and burns well with moderate heat and smoke. Great for campfires, outdoor fire pits, or occasional indoor use.

*Please keep in mind that this process does not kill insects or bugs

  • Freshly cut and high in moisture, green firewood is best for seasoning at home. Best budget-friendly option especially if you're planning ahead.

“Wonderful quality wood. Incredible communication. Very patient with setting up the logistics. As soon as I said I was interested in the cord of wood, he set it aside for me. The driver dropped it right where I needed it and in a very timely fashion. I will keep his number for the future. Highly recommended.”
